NextStep
By: Jake Heyer

Project Brief
Using UX/UI design methodologies, identify a problem that can be solved with a digital product.
Emphathize
My user is students in or that just graduated highschool. Highschool doesn't fully prepare students for the real world NextStep helps them be better equip for situations they might come across as adults.

Benchmarking
One app that has similar features is the Life Skills App. This app helps teach students about different skills that will help them throughout life. This app is however very stagnant and doesn't have a feature that rewards students for learning.
Survey
After conducting a survey, I noticed that the majority of high school students don't know basic life skills. The majority of the surveyors also said that they would use an app that teaches them life skills if they were getting rewarded for learning different skills.

Task Flow

LoFi Prototype
This was the first step in generating the app that the user would use on the journey of learning different life skills.

MidFi Prototype
This was the next step when generating the app. This helped me determine more features that I wanted to add into my app.
User Testing
I tested my app with 4 different people. Based on the user testing, I made some changes to my MidFi so that the user experience was easier to manage. I changed some of the scaling and shapes within the apps.

HighFi Prototype
Lastly was to add the branding that was decided on the MidFi prototype and change some things based on the user testing. In this prototype you go through the budgeting lesson, take the quiz, and view your reward.
